Have at least 2 references ready. Prepare your references' details as you're preparing your resume. Having references ready also gives a good impression to hiring managers.
Stay patient. The hiring process can be long, depending on the company. It's important to keep busy during this time. If you are not working during this time volunteer your time at an organisation or consider temporary work.
