Our client, a well-known, exciting, Australian entertainment company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to support their Group Accountant, in the financial management of the company. This dynamic role involves financial management reporting, overseeing payroll, bookkeeping, and assisting with overall financial operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
The Role:
Your role will split across 4 main verticals:
Financial Management & Reporting:
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm
Location: Bella Vista
WFH Flexibility, with 4 days in the office.

The Role:
Your role will split across 4 main verticals:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support financial analysis and forecasting for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Oversee outsourced payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and superannuation requirements.
- Handle payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in managing cash flow and financial transactions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and policy implementation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies

About You:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial management, payroll, or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and payroll requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
