The Role
- Manage an end-to-end portfolio of complex Financial Lines claims
- Liaise with legal counsel, external stakeholders and claimants directly.
- Initiate claims investigations
- Request medical and financial information to effectively determine liability on claims.
- Make claim decisions and develop in your knowledge long term.
- Extensive experience in financial lines claims management, within an insurer, brokerage, underwriting agency or private practice.
- Experience in liaising with legal panels and relationship building within this space.
- Experience in legal practice will also be considered.
- Tertiary qualification in Legal is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously
