The company

A well-established insurance company with offices globally and known for their collaborative culture are now seeking a new team member to assist with the implementation of CPS 230. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance to the business by addressing queries related to Risk and Compliance activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review frameworks, policies, and tools to manage regulatory obligations effectively, while performing compliance tasks to uphold business standards.
  • Deliver comprehensive 2nd Line Risk and Compliance tasks, including maintaining registers, conducting control testing, and preparing detailed reports to meet internal and regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate across Lines 1 and 2 Compliance staff to create a cohesive and proactive approach to risk management, driving continuous improvement in monitoring and supervision programs.
  • Identify, monitor, and report on Compliance, Risk, and Governance matters, preparing insightful reports with key metrics and actionable recommendations for senior leadership, committees, and regulators.
  • Contribute to regulatory projects and initiatives, develop training solutions to address compliance gaps, and deliver programs to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across the organisation.

Experience required: 
  • Risk and Compliance experience within insurance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
