As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be a key member of the Operations Underwriting Support team, contributing to accurate risk assessment, record-keeping, and reporting. Collaborate with underwriters on classes such as Property, Energy, Marine, Aviation, Financial Lines, or A&H.

The Role:
- Provide administrative and technical support to underwriters in the assessment of new and renewal applications
- Collect and analyse client data and documentation
- Input and maintain accurate policy information in internal systems
- Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to obtain missing information
- Assist in the preparation of quotes, endorsements, and policy documents
- Track pending applications and follow up as needed
- Help ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and internal procedures
- 1–2 years of administrative experience in insurance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with data and software systems
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and develop in the underwriting field
